Re:Manitoba: Free university tuition if you stay 6 - 2006/12/07 02:12
Hi all , FYI , At University of Saskatchewan there is no tuition difference between a domestic and an international student...(although they have no plans to make it free! its still less than what we pay) ..bascially an international student will pay the same amount as a domestic student pays and its still less that what a domestic student pays in Ontario.
Also , has anybody wondered why Immigration to Canada for Individuals who have already attained university education in Canada takes the same time as someone who did not have a degree from here? I dont mean to discriminate between two groups of individuals..but the motto behind saying this is because the Government spends so much of money in acclamatising new canadians , imagine how easy it will be for government to acclamatise an already acclamatized individual who has already been in canada for atleast 2 years ! Shouldn't the Govt initiate something like this to encourage students stay in Canada ? should'nt new applications be processed this way ? would it make sense to make immigration process for students easier ? or atleast given priority? comments/ concerns ..appreciated! Regards Keron
