 Online shopping from US - 2007/03/07 09:02 Hi Folks,

I want to buy a camcorder through online. I found it is cheaper from US. Do anyone know about the tax that I have to pay at the Canadian border during shipping?

If you know any reliable online store in canada please let me know?

Re:Online shopping from US - 2007/03/07 16:51 Also keep in mind that if they send it by UPS, then you have to pay the custom duty as well. So it is better to ask them to send it by USPS.

Re:Online shopping from US - 2007/03/07 19:23 Do not get it shipped by UPS cause they charge around $30 as brokerage fee. In fact every other commercial shipping company will charge you some brokerage fee unless they ship it by USPS. Since USPS and Canada post are the Govt shipping companies they charge much less brokerage - $5. Of'course it also depends upon the cost of the material being shipped. Krishnaraj Tiwari (Raj)
